Here we call them the paisley tapes, they are made by John McBlain he does most of the voices for the politicians here inc Ian Paisley and Gerry Adams and more, if you want a good laugh go to Mr McBlain’s site and buy his dvd’s and cd’s you will not be disappointed.

I bought 3 of his cd’s the other day and ordered another one today “christmas at adams house” the first time I heard this tape was like about when I was 22 years old and now I’m 37 it was hilarious then and still is now.

Instead of listening to dance tapes at a house party, throw on one of two of these dvd’s or cd’s and have the house rocking with laughter!

Well done Mr McBlain – keep it lit!!!

It has been a while since I have posted on my blog, but I have been busy with certain things. And I have been playing Battlefield 3 at least 2-3 hours per day, such a very good game.

All for now…

Well, was the wait worth it for the battlefield 3 game…YES!!!

I played for 2 and a half hours straight last night, and had only one coffee break. This game is awesome, if you have not played it yet, then you have to go out and buy it. My Battlefield 3 handle is GothicCrow

I arrived back home last night, I got home about 11:40pm. It was a long flight from Manila to Amsterdam, 13 hours in total. It seemed to be quicker coming back than going. I flew with KLM it’s a dutch airline, and it was the best I have used so far, there food in flight was really good, and they have lots of movies to watch, the screen is about 7inches long and 4inches wide, which is good for viewing.

From Amsterdam to Dublin I flew with Aer Lingus, you have to pay for the food and drinks, as it is not free

And the security checks that one has to go through is boring. So if you are flying international you have to be at least 4 hours in the airport before your flights take off, just to be on the safe side, as certian security checks can be long.

When in Manila you have to pay 750Php after you check your bags in, it’s some cost they have, was the same in Bacolod I had to pay 400Php. So what happens if you don’t have the cash to pay, do they let you through?

I was going to write about my holiday in Bacolod, to share with my visitors about the great time that I had. So I will add something new each day, for example the food…

Well I leave here from Dublin on the 12th September and back again on the 3rd October, I’m going to visit my Fiancee in the Philippines. I will probably not do any blogging when I am there, and will probably just wait until I am back.

I was watching the television last night, but not much was on, so I turned the channel over to bbc2. There was a movie on called The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas it was on from 9pm till 10:30pm I only seen the last 45 minutes of it. It was 2 young boys both 8 years old, one of them there father was in the german army and the other one was a Jew in a prison camp. The one who’s father was in the army was called Bruno and the other boy was called Shmuel, they had both become friends, even though Shmuel was on the other side of the fence. Near the end of the movie it was really sad what those people had to go through, it is worth watching…

Ok I have been playing the game and have not yet completed it. The game is “hard” not just killing the aliens, but the puzzels in the game, that you need to complete before you enter certain stages of the game. The graphics are about 8/10 depending on what rig you have, the weapons are ok they can do alot of damage to the aliens depending on what one you have at the time. Has the game been worth it? after all these years in them making it, yeah it’s ok…

There’s nothing like a good oul bacon sandwich to start the day, and a nice cold can of coca-cola. I was thinking of adding a irish food page to the site, we have some very nice meals here, that I could share with the rest of the world.

I have noticed that some pubs in the center of Belfast, do not offer traditional irish food. I mean like who wants to visit here and all they can find is burger and chips? how about a nice bowl of irish stew? or some champ, or even a nice bowl of vegtable soup?

You would either have to come up the Falls Road to get some traditional food…why not call into a cafe on the road and try some of our foods…

I will do some research and try and locate some good food places here
